It’s all in the (goth) family for Tim Burton’s next film. As anticipation builds over classic 1988 film “Beetlejuice,” Warner Bros. has finally dropped some images for fans to drool over.
Catherine O’Hara and Wynona Ryder are back as Delia and Lydia Deetz, while Jenna Ortega joins as Lydia’s daughter… alongside surprise addition Justin Theroux, whose role hasn’t yet been disclosed. The foursome stand draped in black in front of what seems to be a hearse, making some wonder if O’Hara’s Delia has joined her eternally gothic daughter’s ways.
But prepare yourselves, fans… Michael Keaton is officially back in his title character’s dirty black-and-white suit, wild hair, black-out eyes and nasty teeth. The sequel, set for a September 5th release, has also released its official title: “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”
